Privacy Policy

Torque Advisory Group LLC ("we," "us") provides fixed ops consulting, analytics tools, and the VINtage inventory application for automotive dealerships. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it — in plain English, because that's how we'd want it explained to us.
What we collect
- Contact and audit requests. When you submit our contact form, we receive the name, dealership, email, phone number, and message you provide.
- Free tool downloads. When you download a free tool, we ask for your name, work email, and dealership.
- Purchases. When you buy a product, our payment processor (Stripe) provides us your email address and purchase details so we can deliver your download and keep a record of the sale. Your card number never touches our systems — payment details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and handled entirely by Stripe.
- VINtage accounts. If you create a VINtage account, we store your email address, a securely hashed password (we cannot see your actual password), your subscription status, and the inventory data you enter, which is isolated to your account.
What our downloaded tools do NOT collect
The analytics tools you download from us (calculators, dashboards, snapshots) run entirely in your own browser or in Excel on your own computer. The numbers you enter into them — your rates, hours, technician pay, financials — stay on your device and are never transmitted to us.
How we use your information
- To deliver the products and services you've requested and respond to your inquiries.
- To keep required records of purchases.
- To occasionally send you relevant tools, insights, or offers if you've given us your email. Every marketing email includes a way to opt out, and opting out is honored promptly.
We do not sell your information to anyone. We do not share it with third parties except the service providers below, who process it on our behalf.
Service providers we rely on
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Supabase — secure database, authentication, and file storage.
- Netlify — website hosting and form handling.
Each processes data under its own security and privacy commitments. All connections to our site and services are encrypted (HTTPS).
Cookies and tracking
We do not run advertising trackers on this site. The VINtage application uses the minimum browser storage needed to keep you signed in, and our downloadable tools use your browser's local storage only to save the data you enter, on your own device.
Retention and your choices
We keep purchase records as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Contact and marketing information is kept until you ask us to remove it. You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you — email info@torqueadvisorygroup.com and we'll take care of it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here with a new effective date.
